Kitchen & On-Board Storage
How much storage does the kitchen have?
Our slide-out galley delivers 26,335 cu in or 15.24 cu ft of organized space—roughly 15 % more than
comparable off-road campers. Three full-extension drawers keep cookware, utensils, and dry goods secure,
while a dedicated 12 V fridge slide handles units up to 35.5” L x 19” W x 23” H (rated up to 500 lbs).
Can I run my coffee maker or other small appliances?
Yes. A pure-sine 2000 W inverter is standard, letting you power most household appliances (up to 15 A)
through the 120 V outlets. For higher-draw espresso machines, simply start the tow vehicle or switch to
shore-power to avoid deep-cycling your batteries.
Power, Solar & Off-Grid Endurance
How long can I stay off-grid with solar?
With the standard 200 Ah LiFePO₄ battery bank and 400 W roof-mounted solar array, you can expect 3–5 days of
self-sufficiency while running the fridge, lights, water pump, and charging devices in fair weather.
Optional 600 W fold-out panels or a 400 Ah battery upgrade extends autonomy to a week.
How much power does the trailer draw at idle?
Hotel loads average less than 2 A (lights, monitoring, and fridge cycling). Real-time usage is displayed on
the Victron SmartShunt so you always know your state of charge.
Can I get more than 200 Ah of batteries?
Absolutely—our power bay is pre‑wired for up to 400 Ah of drop‑in LiFePO₄, complete with
temperature‑controlled heating pads for winter performance.
Cargo Carrying & Mounting Options
How do I mount bikes?
The roof rack is fitted with universal T‑slots that accept most fork‑mount or wheel‑tray bike carriers. A
rear receiver hitch accepts swing‑away racks for ground‑level loading.
Can I mount four or five bikes?
Yes—pair a 4‑bike swing‑away rack on the rear receiver with a single roof‑mounted carrier to haul five bikes
without blocking the spare tire.
Can I mount a motorcycle?
A 2" class‑III rear receiver is rated to 600 lb tongue weight. A lightweight dirt‑bike carrier or a
hitch‑mounted moto-rail is fully supported; just keep total tongue load within spec (see Section 5).
What if I have e‑bikes?
Use a heavy‑duty rack rated for the bike weight. The 12 V accessory port near the rear receiver lets you
top‑up batteries while driving or in camp.
Roof & Awning Configurations
What kind of tent can I put on?
The Sky‑Portal™ roof rack supports tents up to 180 kg / 400 lb static load. Popular options include iKamper
Skycamp, The Bush Company AX27, and 23Zero Armadillo.
I have my own tent—can I use it?
If it uses universal M8 channel hardware and fits inside the rack’s 55" width, you’re good to go. Our dealer
will provide mounting plates at no charge.
Can I fit two awnings?
Yes. Dual 270° awnings mount on both driver and passenger side rack rails—perfect for wrap‑around shade.
Dimensions, Weight & Fitment
Specs?
-
To determine tongue weight (dry):
- Weigh the vehicle: Drive your vehicle onto a vehicle scale without the trailer attached.
- Weigh the vehicle with trailer: Hook up the trailer and drive the vehicle onto the scale again, ensuring the trailer wheels are not on the scale.
- Calculate tongue weight: Subtract the vehicle weight without the trailer from the vehicle weight with the trailer.
- Dry weight: 2600 lb
- Overall length: 192 in / 16 ft
- Body height (no tent): 82 in
-
Hitch height (level):
- 31” standard tires: 24.5”
- 33” upgrade tires: 25.5”
- 35” upgrade tires: 26.5”
- Ground clearance: 18 in
Can I fit into a garage if I run 33" tires and a roof‑top tent?
- Use this rule of thumb: Overall Height = Body Height + Tire Increase + Tent Height.
- 31"
- 33"
- 35"
- The Bush Company AX27 tent adds 13" when closed.
- Measure your garage door opening (typically 84") and compare.
- A low-profile portal option drops rack height by 2" if you’re on the edge.
Can I fit tires larger than 35"?
Wheel‑well clearance tops out at 35". Larger diameters will contact the guards under full articulation.
Chassis, Suspension & Ride
What type of suspension does it use?
Our independent trailing‑arm suspension features dual remote‑reservoir shocks and long‑travel coil springs
for 18" of articulation.
Is there an air‑bag option?
Yes—an on‑board Air‑Lift system replaces the coils, giving on‑the‑fly ride‑height control and auto‑levelling
in camp.
Climate Control & Four‑Season Capability
How does the four‑season package work?
Closed‑cell foam insulation (R‑[__]) lines the walls, floor, and roof. Heated water and air are supplied by
the Truma Combi eco‑plus furnace, while tank and line heat‑pads protect plumbing down to –10 °F (–23 °C).
How long can I camp in freezing conditions on 200 Ah?
With the Combi cycling at 50 % duty in 25 °F weather, expect 2 nights before reaching 20 % state‑of‑charge.
Upgrade to 400 Ah for 4‑5 nights.
How does the A/C work—does it perform?
A 9 K BTU 12 V Nomadic rooftop unit draws 45 A at full blast. In 95 °F ambient it cools the cabin to 72 °F
within 15 minutes. Shore power or a 2 kW generator is recommended for continuous use.
Is there dust suppression?
All doors use automotive bulb seals and a positive‑pressure fan that forces filtered air into the cabin,
keeping red dirt out on corrugated roads.
Towing & Hitch Options
Can you fit a DO35 hitch instead of the Max Coupler?
Yes—the coupler plate is drilled for both patterns; choose at order or retrofit later.
Is there a hand‑brake option?
A mechanical park‑brake kit is available and integrates with the electric drum assemblies.
Can I tow with my Bronco (or Jeep)?
The trailer’s GVWR is 4200 lb. Any vehicle rated to 5 000 lb with a 2" receiver and 7‑pin connector—including
Bronco and Wrangler 4‑door—can tow safely. Always confirm your specific trim’s tow rating.
If I add portals and a Bush Company tent, can I still tow with my Bronco/Jeep?
Yes—the added weight is under 150 lb. Check that your roof‑rack static load rating covers the tent if you plan
to store it on the tow‑vehicle instead.
Interior Comfort & Sleeping
What are the hammocks used for?
Two removable gear‑loft hammocks double as kid‑sized bunks or extra storage nets.
Can my kids sleep there? What is the weight limit?
Each hammock supports 150 lb dynamic load—perfect for children up to early teens.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
How do I winterize the trailer?
- Drain fresh‑water and grey tanks.
- Bypass the Truma Combi.
- Pump RV antifreeze through all lines until pink fluid exits each faucet.
- Remove and store the shower head indoors.
- Disconnect and store the LiFePO₄ batteries below 32 °F.

I’m getting error codes on the Truma—how do I fix them?
Refer to the quick‑guide sticker inside the galley hatch. Common codes:
- E212H: low voltage—check battery SOC.
- E517H: flame failure—reset, ensure LP valve is open
- Persistent faults? Contact Truma Support: 1-855-558-7862 ext. 1
Can I use the stabilizers to change a tire?
No. Stabilizers are rated for vertical loads only. Use the supplied bottle jack under the frame jack‑point.
