Kitchen & On-Board Storage
How much storage does the kitchen have?
Our slide-out galley delivers 26,335 cu in or 15.24 cu ft of organized space—roughly 15 % more than comparable off-road campers. Three full-extension drawers keep cookware, utensils, and dry goods secure, while a dedicated 12 V fridge slide handles units up to 35.5” L x 19” W x 23” H (rated up to 500 lbs).
Can I run my coffee maker or other small appliances?
With the Voyager XE and Voyager XEL trims, a 2000 W Sinewave inverter is included, letting you power most household appliances (up to 15 A) through the 120 V outlets. For higher-draw espresso machines, simply start the tow vehicle or switch to shore-power to avoid deep-cycling your batteries.
Power, Solar & Off-Grid Endurance
How long can I stay off-grid with solar?
All Voyager trim packages come equipped with a standard SAE solar port for deployable panels. Upgrade to the Voyager XEL for added rooftop solar (MC4 port). As power usage can differ greatly, we recommend consulting with your dealer or calling our technical support line with specifics to get an estimate.
Can I get more than 200 Ah of batteries?
The Voyager X comes standard with dual AGM 115AH batteries and through Xpedition Trailers, an upgrade to dual 100AH Lithium Batteries is available. For power beyond the 200AH combined from our lithium upgrade option, speak with your nearest dealer about a possible retrofit.
Cargo Carrying & Mounting Options
How do I mount bikes?
The roof rack is fitted with universal slots that accept most bike carriers. A rear receiver hitch accepts swing‑away racks for ground‑level loading.
Can I mount four or five bikes?
Yes—pair a 4‑bike swing‑away rack on the rear receiver with a single roof‑mounted carrier to haul five bikes without blocking the spare tire.
Can I mount a motorcycle?
A 2" class‑III rear receiver is rated to 600 lb tongue weight. A lightweight dirt‑bike carrier or a hitch‑mounted moto-rail is fully supported; just keep total tongue load within spec.
What if I have e‑bikes?
Use a heavy‑duty rack rated for the bike weight. Choose the Voyager XE or XEL trims with added 12V roof accessory to top‑up batteries while driving or in camp.
Roof & Awning Configurations
What kind of tent can I put on?
The Voyager's 94"x58" 1000 lb. capacity roof rack with 6 cross rails is built to support most rooftop tents. The Voyager Sky Portal option is available with the Bush Company TX27 Max or 23Zero Kabari hardshell tents.
I have my own tent—can I use it?
If it fits inside the rack’s 58" width, and has compatible mounting hardware, you should be good to go. For help or questions about your specific tent, call our technical support line or contact your dealer.
Can I fit two awnings?
Yes. Dual 270° awnings mount on both driver and passenger side rack rails—perfect for wrap‑around shade.
Dimensions, Weight & Fitment
Specs?
  • To determine tongue weight (dry):
    • Weigh the vehicle: Drive your vehicle onto a vehicle scale without the trailer attached.
    • Weigh the vehicle with trailer: Hook up the trailer and drive the vehicle onto the scale again, ensuring the trailer wheels are not on the scale.
    • Calculate tongue weight: Subtract the vehicle weight without the trailer from the vehicle weight with the trailer.
  • Dry weight: 2600 lb
  • Overall length: 192 in / 16 ft
  • Body height (no tent): 82 in
  • Hitch height (level):
    • 31” standard tires: 24.5”
    • 33” upgrade tires: 25.5”
    • 35” upgrade tires: 26.5”
  • Ground clearance: 18 in
Can I fit into a garage if I run 33" tires and a roof‑top tent?
  • Use this rule of thumb: Overall Height = Body Height + Tire Increase + Tent Height.
  • Measure your garage door opening (typically 84") and compare.
Can I fit tires larger than 35"?
Wheel‑well clearance tops out at 35". Larger diameters will contact the guards under full articulation.
Chassis, Suspension & Ride
What type of suspension does it use?
The Voyager's X-Ride Suspension is the beating heart of the Voyager’s off-road capability—engineered in-house and tuned specifically for backcountry travel. Modeled after the suspensions of serious off-road vehicles, this proprietary independent system absorbs bumps, ruts, and corrugations to keep your journey smooth and your trailer stable. Its unique sub-frame “Z-plates” cradle the chassis, dispersing stress to prevent frame twist, while a thick-gauge steel crossmember links the plates with the independent A-Arms so the entire structure works as one cohesive unit. The result is a rigid, true chassis that keeps doors, latches, and the trailer body aligned, delivering unmatched stability, confidence, and protection mile after rugged mile.
What's the ground clearance?
Ground clearance on the Voyager is 18" with our standard 31" E-rated all-terrain tire.
Climate Control & Four‑Season Capability
What is included in the Voyager's standard four‑season features?
Closed‑cell foam insulation lines the walls, floor, and roof. Heated water and air are supplied by the Truma Combi eco‑plus furnace, while tank and line heat‑pads protect plumbing down to –10 °F (–23 °C).
Is the Voyager A/C compatible?
All Voyager Trim packages come A/C ready with A/C ports and built-in condesation line. Upgrade to the XE or XEL for the custom built shelf for your A/C unit (see your dealer for compatible units).
Towing & Hitch Options
Can you fit a DO35 hitch instead of the Max Coupler?
The Voyager is only designed to fit the CU Off-road 360 Max Coupler. Modifications can be made to fit the DO35 post-build - though doing so would void any warranty associated.
Can I tow with my Bronco (or Jeep)?
The trailer’s GVWR is 4200 lb. Any vehicle rated to 5 000 lb with a 2" receiver and 7‑pin connector—including Bronco and Wrangler 4‑door—can tow safely. Always confirm your specific trim’s tow rating.
If I add portals and a Bush Company tent, can I still tow with my Bronco/Jeep?
Yes, as most Voyager trailers produced in our shop with the Sky Portal+tent go out around 3000 lbs, your Bronco or Jeep (double check the tow capacity on your specific vehicle to be sure) can handle the portal with tent and have plenty of capacity to spare. Just make sure to keep your fully-loaded trailer below 4200 GVWR.
Interior Comfort & Sleeping
What are the hammocks used for?
Two removable gear‑loft hammocks double as kid‑sized bunks, pet beds, or extra storage nets.
Can my kids sleep there? What is the weight limit?
Each hammock supports 150 lb dynamic load—perfect for children up to early teens.
