Shipping policy

Online Shipping Policy 

Effective date: August 13, 2025 

This Online Shipping Policy applies to parts ordered online at xpeditiontrailers.com only. It does not apply to trailer purchases or in-person sales. 

1. Order Processing Times 

  • In-stock parts typically ship within 1 to 3 business days, Monday to Friday, excluding U.S. holidays. 

  • During promotions, peak season, or severe weather, processing may extend to 2 to 5 weeks. 

  • Orders placed after our daily cutoff are processed the next business day. 

2. Shipping Methods and Carriers 

  • We ship via carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, and trusted LTL freight providers for oversized items. 

  • Available service levels and estimated transit times are shown at checkout. Transit times are estimates from the carrier and are not guaranteed. 

3. Shipping Rates and Fees 

  • Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, destination, and service level. 

  • Oversize, residential, rural, liftgate, and address correction fees may apply for LTL shipments. Any additional carrier surcharges will be passed through at cost. 

4. Order Splits and Backorders 

  • We may split shipments to expedite in-stock items at no additional shipping cost. 

  • Backordered items ship when available. Estimated ship dates are subject to change based on supplier availability. 

5. Address Accuracy and Changes 

  • Please confirm your shipping address before submitting your order. 

  • Once an order is released to a carrier, address changes may not be possible. If a reroute is available, carrier fees will apply. 

  • Orders returned as undeliverable due to an incorrect address may incur reship fees. 

6. Signature Requirement and Delivery 

  • For high-value shipments, an adult signature may be required upon delivery. 

  • You are responsible for providing a safe delivery location. We are not responsible for theft after a carrier confirms delivery. 

7. Risk of Loss 

  • Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer when the shipment is accepted by the carrier at our warehouse or a partner facility for drop-ship items. We will assist with reasonable claims, subject to the timelines below. 

8. Damaged, Missing, or Lost Packages 

  • Inspect upon delivery. If damage is visible, note it with the driver before signing. 

  • Report issues within 5 business days of delivery to sales@xpeditiontrailers.com. Include your order number, photos of the packaging and product, and a description of the issue. 

  • Keep all packaging materials until your claim is resolved. Discarding packaging may void the claim. 

  • If tracking shows delivered but you did not receive the package, wait 48 hours, check with neighbors or your building office, then contact us. We will help file a carrier investigation. 

9. International Shipping 

  • Duties, taxes, brokerage, and import fees are the recipient’s responsibility unless stated at checkout. 

  • We ship on a DAP basis (Delivered at Place) unless otherwise specified. We cannot mark shipments as gifts or understate value. 

10. PO Boxes, APO/FPO, and Freight Forwarders 

  • PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses may require USPS and can have size or weight limits. 

  • Shipments to freight forwarders are considered delivered once the carrier confirms delivery to the forwarder. Risk of loss transfers at that time. 

11. Order Verification and Fraud Prevention 

  • For your protection, we may hold orders for verification or request additional information. If we cannot verify an order, it may be canceled and refunded. 

12. Cancellations 

  • Requests to cancel must be submitted before the order ships. Once an order has been released to the carrier, it cannot be canceled. Refused deliveries may incur return shipping and restocking fees per our Return Policy. 

13. Third-Party and Drop-Ship Items 

  • Some parts are fulfilled directly by the manufacturer or an authorized partner and may ship separately. 

  • Those items are subject to the third party’s shipping, handling, and delivery policies, which may differ from ours. It is incumbent on the purchaser to review and understand the applicable third-party shipping policies before ordering. 

  • Any delivery timeframes provided for third-party items are estimates from the partner and are not guaranteed by Xpedition Trailers. 

14. Policy Scope and Changes 

  • This policy applies only to parts ordered online at xpeditiontrailers.com. 

  • We may update this policy at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to the website.
